My boys loved dinosaurs when they were little, Mike even wanted to be a paleontologist until he was in high school and learned there aren’t many opportunities to actually dig for fossils anymore. Anyway, that’s why I thought it would be cool to go to Dinosaur National monument. It’s located between Utah and Colorado, and there are two parts of the park, the fossil side where they have a wall of fossils, and the canyon side. We started with the fossils then drove to the canyon part. On the canyon side we saw a swarm of what we learned were Mormon crickets of the road. I initially through they were poop (there were a lot of cows), then Dan noticed they were moving. Yuck!
