Kanab in southern Utah is within a couple of hours of a LOT of cool places….Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion and Bryce National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Antelope Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante are just a few of them. We wanted to visit places we hadn’t been before, so our first stop from Kanab was Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. The dunes were really pretty, and there were several people with snowboards riding down the largest one. Dan decided to hike to the top while I turned back before I got to the bottom of the largest dune, it was too hot for me.
