From Durango we headed to Kanab, Utah to spend a few days since it’s close to several of the places we wanted to visit. Mesa Verde was a possible stop when we were planning, and as luck would have it we drove right past it so we had to stop. I should be used to everything being on top of a mountain, but it still takes me by surprise. I’m glad we made time to stop even it was more mountain driving. A plus of being at the top of a mountain is the weather is much cooler.
